As a mascot, I see human love as beautiful and wonderful.
I love you all today as well♡

I know so many great people who are doing so much. If you are isolated from people who are trying their best, I can understand feeling like no one's doing anything, but really, you just need to find the people who are trying and try with them — or maybe encourage some new folks to try alongside you.

The easiest thing for Democrats to do would be to stop confirming Trump judges, but they can’t even be bothered to do that. Just failure all the way down.

I really hate these people.

SERIOUSLY.
Every elected Republican was a united front opposing and criticizing everything Obama did for 8 straight years, even if it was a policy they fundamentally agreed with. Why. In the fuck. Is it asking too much for Democrats to do the same with a legitimate fascist?
Democratic voters are working hard to stop fascism. It would be nice if the leaders of the party joined them.

Each Home Depot property has these camera’s as well, at least in Oregon.

This is the map of Portland, where flock cameras are currently in legal limbo, but every Home Depot outside of city limits has them.

Check out deflock.me to see where they are in your city.

I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice

If you live in the US, you may be more concerned than ever about what happens when law enforcement shows up at a telco and demands information about your account.
A new anonymous phone carrier startup Phreeli, launching today, will let you sign up for cellular service with almost no personally identifiable information—not even your name. All it asks for is a ZIP code, the minimum info legally required for tax purposes. www.wired.com/story/new-an...

Privacy stalwart Nicholas Merrill spent a decade fighting an FBI surveillance order. Now he wants to sell you phone service—without knowing almost anything about you.

TLDR: Texas is empowering Any Random Motherfucker to sue abortion pill providers—from Big Pharma to a physician to Susan who happened to have an extra dose of mife in her van—and to win a 10K bounty for their troubles.

And if the plaintiff is related to the fetus, 100K.

Great day for abusers.

Just a reminder that all the small, indie businesses who have to buy their own insurance are the ones relying on those ACA credits & they're fucked since the Dems caved on the gov't shutdown. So preschool teachers losing their jobs right before Christmas is the next evil we've allowed into the world

Not gold, not crypto, just a shiny flex of online clout, the relational webbing that connects the internet.

NEW: Oregon could lose nearly $18 million worth of terrorism prevention and emergency funding.

In the past, the money has paid for bomb detectors, law enforcement training and barriers that prevent cars from plowing into crowds.

This raises an interesting prospect. For Costco itself to be entitled to a refund, and not to have to pass it to their customers (they couldn’t get standing for such a suit), Costco would have to be eating the cost of the tariffs.
"Costco is suing the Trump administration over its tariffs, arguing that the White House has exceeded its executive authority in instituting tariffs and that it should be entitled to a refund if the tariffs are found unconstitutional." 👀
