Seriously. This made me so mad when I passed a bookstore with a banned books display in the window and it was all stupid classics. Like who is that helping?

I just imagine his idea of “realistic boob bounces” probably looks like dead or alive when you’d turn your age to 99 where the boobs would just infinitely bounce against the laws of gravity.

Hah we actually just had this conversation earlier today! We both feel like you do though. We were saying s1 dance was fun to watch the first time but got annoying bc of song. S2 is enjoyable. But kiddos name is Julian too, so there’s that. 😅

Hubs will not let us skip the opening credits. He gets such a laugh out of watching Cena’s dance.

We’ve been watching peacemaker and I’ve had oh lord in my head 24/7. I’m not mad about it.

"Just to be clear: A lack of recognition, supports, & accommodations & the presence of co-occurring conditions does not mean that some people have “profound autism.” Autistic people are all autistic. Period." From @ejwillingham.bsky.social in the new TPGA newsletter.

I will definitely share! (And I can see myself buying more in the future. I totally missed the earrings!!!!)

I placed a big order earlier (under another name) and hopefully made the PITA that is shipping to the US worth it. Can’t wait to put some of the stickers on my wheelchair 🤗

Your work is amazing! I love it 🥰

please stop referring what people make as "content" unless what they're making is so inconsequential that literally no other label works better

call art art, music music, performance performance, dance dance... boiling everything down to a catch-all is insulting and devaluing

I was in a similar situation with limited show access, except for a period when my mom got a job at the cable company and we got everything for free including 24/7 pay per view. That was a wild time. 🤣

I also maintain that muppets from space is the best muppets movie.

I’ve also never seen x files (I’ve tried and can’t get into it aside from the one new ep with Rhys Darby) and havent finished ds9

We just started rewatching Buffy and it is really mostly “cringe” as the kids say. There are two phenomenal episodes (Hush and The Body) and that’s about it. GG I watched a few years ago for the first time and it’s okay but severely overrated and problematic. And the reboot ruined the chars.

I had to look it up and now my kid wants to go 🤣

Geez. I have worse back pain when I don’t sleep on my side. And if you have sleep apnea they tell you to sleep on your side to reduce it. Maybe npr shouldn’t give people advice that is based on individuals? Lmao

Every time I look at Jay’s account it’s full of hypocrisy though, so I try to avoid it in general. I just feel like there aren’t many options other than building our own social servers 😒

I also don’t get how they can so totally dismiss their audience.

A good person isn’t going to flip to accept bad actors because they were dogpiled on. I am so tired of social media at this point.
harlandechamps.bsky.social
I have seen a LOT of people given advice over the years that if they are in the US they don’t have to get an official copyright because as soon as it’s published it’s copyrighted, and this all just proved that incredibly wrong.
harlandechamps.bsky.social
This is all such horseshit and I’m sorry you (and anyone) have to deal with it. I’m glad I don’t have any books published yet to have to worry about but my god my empathy is kicking my ass.

"Accessing the supports my autistic son needs can be brutally difficult, especially as he and his peers transition into adulthood. But unlike grievance parents, I believe my son deserves respect and understanding—not grievance parents’ relentless exploitation of their children as burdens."
thinkingautism.com
The @nytimes.com has a new article on " #ProfoundAutism," featuring the same grievance parents they always feature—and minimal autistic input. Pls counter with our explanation of why autistic kids deserve better representation than parents who resent them.

Grievance-Based Parent Organizations Are Autism's MAGA Movement — THINKING PERSON'S GUIDE TO AUTISM
Horrified by the misinformation peddled by MAGA truthers? You should be just as concerned about grievance-based autism parent orgs.

It was inevitable. I now have Covid. At least I was watching for it and was able to catch it early. Got the paxlovid in hand, ready to start the first dose tonight. Fingers crossed it doesn’t do more damage than I’ve already sustained. 🤞🤞
