John McCain couldn’t have possibly gotten hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians into the streets for months, even as regime forces killed over 100 protestors, nor get Ukraine’s then-president to try banning free speech and assembly.

If you think about the conspiracy theory at all it is very stupid.
Wild how people like this, just like russians, still can’t comprehend that the Revolution of Dignity wasn’t staged. It was Ukrainians choosing freedom over fear. Imperialists and small minds always assume someone else must be pulling the strings, because they’ve never seen a nation with a spine.

Indeed: Huntington was an early warning sign of how, amidst skyrocketing inequality, a small coterie of unpatriotic super elites would seek to tear down state structures while shouting racist narratives of blood and soil into the media that they control
Amid the liberal internationalist optimism of the late 1990s, Samuel Huntington foresaw a world marked by continued conflict.

"Never spread the lie in the headline" should be a hard rule of 21st century journalism.

Research shows that repeating lies helps to spread them, and people read headlines more than they read stories.
News media has to do better with headlines that present false and unverified public health claims.

It was not a plan but a capitulation document. It did not come together. It was a Russian document presented by some Americans as American. Be clear in your headlines. Help
people see the simple awfulness of things.
President Trump's proposal to end the war in Ukraine heavily favored Russia in its initial form and included demand that Kyiv has consistently rejected. Here's how the plan came together.

Anders Opedal (CEO of Equinor) said something wrong here.

He said that the IEA said no need for new oil and gas before, now they say more oil and gas needed. This is wrong.

The no new oil and gas is if demand drops in line with 1.5C, and always has been.
