The second half of that sentence is gibberish but the first half is horrific.
The co-founder of Kalshi says: " The long-term vision is to financialize everything and create a tradable asset out of any difference in opinion."

This is just terrorism without oversight, limitations, or accountability.

If Dems are ever in power again, the dismantling, investigation, and prosecution of ICE needs to be a central platform.
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

You know how everyone loves horse race coverage instead of talking about the actual facts and issues? What if we did more of that, but in a way that feeds into addiction and encourages people to lose money?

Looking forward to Congress being strict about how corporations spend their billions in tax breaks!
Joni Ernst: "I have a McSCUSE ME Act which would disallow those SNAP benefits being used at fast food restaurants. We want to make sure that those hungry families, those food insecure families actually are receiving benefits, but we want them to really use those dollars on nutrient-rich foods."

These people think if you're poor you don't deserve any comfort or fun whatsoever.

Goodnight everyone, from Chicago, a city that was personified by the I Will Maiden. After the Great Fire, her spirit (shown in her divine attributes of a carpenter’s square and building blueprints) expressed the determination of Chicagoans to rebuild. So we have, and so we will. Peace.

What's happening with the Chicago Public Libraries right now is terrible. The proposed budget of the city would CUT 89 CPL positions. Importantly, 78 positions were lost LAST year. That would be 167 positions in 2 YEARS while COPS KEEP GETTING MORE MONEY. ENOUGH. SAY NO.

I would love for them to expound upon exactly what "culture" they're talking about. Because there's no one that hates dominate forms of American culture like the right.
Rep. Kat Cammarck: "Today, one in six people in the US is foreign born. That quite frankly is not sustainable to maintain a culture that we are known for here in the United States."

It’s ridiculous Chicago doesn’t #PlowTheSidewalks. It’s an accessibility issue, as well as a big middle finger to pedestrians.

Maybe take some of the $147M police budget increase to plow the damn sidewalks

Economists say indentured servitude could provide workers free transportation.

But it would be costlier in other ways.
Housing economists say President Trump's pitch for a “50-year mortgage” could save buyers a couple hundred dollars a month.

But it would be costlier in other ways, including with more interest paid over a longer period of time.
Could a 50-year mortgage mean savings for home buyers?
Housing economists say the longer time frame suggested by President Donald Trump could save buyers money, but it would be costlier in other ways.

Nevermind, my favorite part is when the murderous terrorist was being treated on a gurney next to a fully loaded machine gun.
Nevermind, my favorite part happens 4 minutes later when Carl Winslow is like "I shot a kid because he had a toy and it was dark" and the movie was like "well this is the redemption arc we need."
My favorite part of Die Hard is when Hans tells Karl to shoot the glass in German, the language in which they've been communicating all movie, and Karl is confused. Then Hans says it in English and he totes gets it.
