Warhammer, Transformers, Tabletop RPGs, assorted nerd stuff. I wanted to be a Social Justice Mystic Theurge, but turned out a Social Justice Commoner.

I've not actually said this on my account here, on account of it being underused, but:

Queerphobes, transphobes, genocide apologists, racists and Tories of every stripe (explicitly including Reform and Republicans) can go straight to hell.

Do not pass go, do not collect £200.

Was he the one who keeps getting annoyed his alien lizard conspiracies keep getting hijacked by antisemites - giving further cover for the very real and very extraterrestrial aliens?

Or is he the one doing the hijacking?

Being an utterly failed studio writer seems to have been formative for him, so I doubt that here.

Don't forget, pathetically laughable they may be, but every single one of them would cut your cancer treatment or nan's disability payment without even flinching. They're dangers to society, every single one of them.

The photography in this article really feels like The Times are deliberately setting these people up for ridicule. (You can read it without visiting The Times here archive.ph/KZZC1)
An article from The Times: "Meet the young Tories dreaming of a bright blue future". Featuring bizarre portraits of Charles Amos, Rhys Benjamin and Daniel Campbell.

More to the point, the university game society when I was a student could get more people to turn up just for the 40k games, and that's with D&D games taking up more than half the weekly attendants.

(And Keele has more students than St Andrews.)

I have no idea what the original post was, but somehow this still works.

I'm escaping to the ONE SYSTEM that hasn't been CORRUPTED by random character gen!

The amount that being denied access to the web forums would have hacked me off at 13-14 cannot be underestimated.

While obviously true, I'm not sure how that is even slightly relevant.

Curious how many of these chumps - seven years later - are now once again hard-working Conservatives working to destroy everything we hold dear.

Thing is, I really don't think everything should be about politics.

But politics keeps making things about politics, so it seems foolish to ignore that.

The nWoD cat-shifters (Suthanu-Sua) were actually really interesting.

Mostly for having an inbuilt drive to hunt down and punish "evil", but no supernatural means of determining who counts.

(Werebulls and werefish were also fun. The others less so.)

For clarification, that's not me - but I think that's the largest metro by area that isn't a sprawling megalopolis.

Obviously, what he's saying is abhorrent lies.

But it's also VERY, VERY STUPID, and those who voted for him should not be trusted with sharp objects.

If you count Dallas - Fort Worth as a single city, going east-west could be a hundred miles and a two hour drive.

They also tend to conflate fraud and mistakes.

And, given a hostile and opaque system, there are more mistakes than malicious fraud.

I continue to be greatly irked at the attempt to call Putin's hyper-capitalist kleptocracy "communism".

It... isn't? It's just not remotely true.

I went all-in on the 3rd edition orks, but I think half of that was that I wanted a restart after my dubious early paint jobs.

So much white undercoat showing through in the recesses. Switching to a grimier scheme and black undercoat was a life saver.

It's as plausible as anything else.

Maybe the artist (David Sque, I believe) was working on the same logic that saw a mostly white-armoured captain on the front of Dark Millennium (though at least there it's harmonising with the Deathwing).

That, and the likes of the accents are very obviously low-class English, and it's mostly from English writers. It mitigates the racist coding (and, frankly, enough Americans don't understand the nuances of how classism works outside of the US to complain about how it's applied here.)

I think there's an element of orks being further from human than most fantasy "races".

There are no babies, no real children, no romance or sex, no sexes or (barring occasional translation oddities) gender.
