This slop (I don't even know what to call it) is particularly concerning when you consider CBS has consistently led climate coverage by major networks, accounting for 50% of all broadcast time devoted to climate change in 2024.

Big moment for Europe: in December, fully electric cars outsold petrol-only cars in the EU for the first time.

This shows that clear, consistent policy works. Which is exactly why backtracking now would be a mistake. Rolling back targets or creating uncertainty would slow investment and innovation.

15 years ago I borrowed a bulletproof vest from a reporter so I could report from a war zone. I held onto it after I returned.
