I've read somewhere that Congress has the power to declare war. Oh, right, IT'S IN THE FUCKING CONSTITION.
Hakeem Jeffries was not briefed on the operation, Jake Sherman is now reporting. Neither was House Armed Services Committee. Amazing.
Whatever happens now, we absolutely cannot allow Trump's refusal to seek Congressional authorization for what appears to be a large scale military attack on another country vanish from the media discussion, which already appears to be happening.

Magic Johnson was the grand marshal of the Rose Parade today, and as someone who remembers his November 1991 HIV announcement: if you had told anybody that day that he would be alive and healthy 34+ years later, I don't think they would have believed you. Medicine and research—they work.

Coach had some moves.

We wouldn't want the Gatorade bath in 18 degree weather either
He was trying then one of the players grabbed him and he ended up getting clubbed with the cooler before getting the remainder dumped on him

ICYMI: I wrote about FIRE.

The group supported a lawsuit by a far-right group against an Ohio school board over its anti-bullying policy, arguing it violated the rights of students who wished to misgender their trans/nonbinary peers.

FIRE has a long record of siding with anti-trans folks/groups.

Unfortunately, dogs are not equally distributed. They're normally distributed: most people have an average numbers of dogs, a few more, and a few less.

But that's not quite either. Some people have 5, 6, 7, even 15 or 20 dogs.

It's a long-tail distribution.

It's incredible how much of this stuff is just out in the open, but because Trump said "Russiagate hoax!" 5000 times, the media was brainwashed into treating it like a nothing story instead of one of a ten alarm scandal
Tenet Media founder Lauren Chen, who secretly took money from two people with ties to Russian state media to involve conservative influencers in an unwitting propaganda scheme, is back in the US after being deported to Canada under President Biden. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

High enough on her own supply to keep Narcan around.
Bari Weiss just sent this Christmas Eve email to the CBS News staff about "building trust," which includes her tripling down on spiking the CECOT piece "to make sure it's comprehensive and fair."

One CBS staffer tells me: "She really has no idea how insulting she comes across."

The reality for the other students is that they are no longer enrolled in a psychology class. It is a Psychology plus My Personal Christian Beliefs class.

Every class at OU is now a My Personal Christian Beliefs class.

Every time any student raises such beliefs, instructors have to accept them.

What explains the Virginia postmark is that it was placed into the mailstream by a crank in Virginia, then sent to Nassar's old prison, where he no longer was, then returned to Epstein's prison in NYC. That's how mail is handled.

The FBI doesn't have evidence postmarked when it's sent around. 🙄
UPDATE: CNN confirms that "the envelope [holding the Epstein-Nassar Note] was sent from the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City [where Epstein was being held] to Nassar"—*and* got vetted by federal officials.

Which explains the Virginia postmark (where the FBI is).
