i think scissorman in the clock tower video game is just what happens if you get a giant pair of scissors without the regulating power of mayorship, which helps you control and channel the powers of the giant scissors. even with this, many mayors still succumb to the corruption of the scissors

Hey all, do I have any UK based concept artists following me (or who knows anyone) who would be up for a long term 22 month contract working on Dragonwilds at Jagex? Remote with a very occasional day in office in Cambridge. Development experience and fantasy genre work is a must. Mid level role.

Turns out you can substitute on of the plastic motor gears on the Dreamcast for a brass one and reduce the disk-related noises quite a lot. Might do it along the retrobrighting/deep-cleaning I was planning to do.

Spent the last month mapping the blogosphere by its links. The graph is finally ready

Communities clump into a big hex and the whole thing looks like a star map

What are blogs anyway but stars in the sky?

Have to wonder how much corruption there is with the "Right to Buy Back".

Council homes sold off cheap. Then bought back at vastly higher cost.

This money should be spent building NEW homes for growing need, not existing homes at high cost

Council sells homes for £10m under Right to Buy – then spends £33m buying them back
Newham Council, with the largest social housing wait list in the country, has lost tens of millions trying to buy back ex-Right to Buy homes.

I wish I was surprised. Buried in this Budget is a plan to slash the Digital Services Tax, giving a multi-billion tax cut to US tech giants and the likes of Elon Musk.

That's right, cutting taxes for the world's richest man while hiking them for millions of hard-working Brits.
