It's just fucking Prop 50. That's it. Nothing else. And now I've got a couple hours that were previously going to be reserved for ballot research. I guess the moral of this story is we either need to destroy all computers forever or be allowed to vote on our phones. This in-between area sucks.

I got my mail-in ballot like, a couple weeks ago, and I've been putting it off because I hadn't had a chance to read through the props and the people on the ballot and all that. So I finally put aside time today to actually open up the mail-in ballot and get the voting booklet reviewed thoroughly.

My black cat, Daniel Jackson, sleeping in the sunlight while laying on top of my grandma's wooden storage chest. His head is partially upside down while he sleeps, in a pseudo-shrimping position with his paws all close together. He sorta looks like he has a smile on his face. Another side effect of all that is growing up with clothes that never fit. So you have to figure out how to get clothes to fit on you because you've been so used to just getting draped in poorly fitting clothes, up until that arbitrary point in adulthood where you get to buy clothes for yourself.

I still have jackets that are a full size too big, bought by grownups who told child-me "You'll grown into it."
Was that just wishful thinking on their part? Because now I'm stuck with all these clothes, waiting for the day I'll grown into them.

Just woke up and got flashbanged by a childhood memory from so far back that I remember being unable to communicate correctly because I literally was still learning to talk. And the idea of someone giving me an object to put away was impossible to convey to an adult who was asking me about it.
