*Fare-Free Strike*

The basically-unknown union action that is illegal all over the world and yet incredibly popular when workers decide to do it anyway (illegally.)

Here's what it is and why I think @zackpolanski.bsky.social and @greenparty.org.uk should add it to their manifesto...

A thread🧵

This is cheeky, but at this point doesn't the left unify through Greens?

Abolish landlords

Wealth tax

Nationalise water, trains, buses, energy, health

Proscribe the IDF

Unwaveringly pro-trans

Pro-migration

Amazing comms

Near-total unity

Fully democratic

2% behind Labour

Booming membership
Polls showing Greens on 15% just behind Labour on 17% Green membership graph line basically vertically up Greens vote to abolish landlords Greens vote to proscribe IDF

Lets make different political choices says Zack Polanski.

Like taxing billionaires instead of blaming poor people.

Latest poll puts Greens just two points behind Labour. When I said we weren't here to be disappointed in Labour but to replace them, I meant it.

Perhaps the bbc will report on the green surge with the same enthusiasm with which they promoted farage?

Once greens slip ahead of Labour, their whole “don’t let reform in” argument flips and the bubble pops

People realise that they can both vote how they want *and* that’s the best way to keep reform out

(Besides what’s the point of keeping Labour if they just copy reform anyway)

Yeah but at least he’s electable, unlike Corbyn, because of all his sensible centrist policies…

Hell yeah @greenparty.org.uk.

Even that dude from Free Solo couldn’t scale the membership graph of the Greens under @zackpolanski.bsky.social
huckfling.bsky.social
can we get a new graph @ukgreenstats.bsky.social !

Wanna see the line going SHOOOOOOP!

@greenparty.org.uk growing by 1,000 members every day 📈

that means we overtake the dying Tories on November 11th 🗓️

Next step Reform, then @teamlabouruk.bsky.social 🥀 💀

Don’t let the momentum die. The time for left wing unity is now 💪🤝

Criminally underrated comment.

As hopeful as I was for Your Party,
@greenparty.org.uk will Abolish Landlords whilst YP are led by them 🏡

Greens unanimously voted for Trans healthcare reform whilst YP risk abandoning trans people 🏳️‍⚧️

Greens are already one member one vote, so anything you don’t like you can vote to change 🗳️

Or is it that I'm saying things the Telegraph doesn't want to hear?

I suggest they might want to avoid our Party Broadcast this evening!
Courageous political leadership means telling an audience what they don't want to hear. Zack Polanski will never do that.

Green’s pathway to replacing Labour:

🟡 Lib Dem’s - completed it mate
🔵 Tories - you’re next
🔴 Labour - no way you’re anywhere close to 300k, we all left
🔵2.0 Reform - your bubble will pop when working class people realise you are are anti-worker, pro rich

We rise with @zackpolanski.bsky.social
huckfling.bsky.social
Turns out @libdems.org.uk only have 60k members, not 83k, so I updated their Wikipedia page for them (to save them the effort 👼 )

that’s unless @eddavey.libdems.org.uk thinks Your Party’s 800k strong mailing list counts as 800k members?

@zackpolanski.bsky.social‘s @greenparty.org.uk has 30% more!

If you want to see why the telegraph is failing so horribly, take a look at this headline, then listen to the speech. Just another example of really poor journalism.
When they're can't attack your arguments, they resort to distortion to the point of lying!
