there is so much wrong with this but the part i cannot get past is an ostensibly ethnonationalist project quoting *the prophet isaiah*. like i know context doesn't matter to a lot of christians when finding a proof text verse they like but just wow.
DHS uses American Standard Version translation when quoting scripture. In case you were wondering.

This is real. Our govt is Tweeting like a 14 year old and calling Americans imbecilic morons. We worry about children being bullied but this is the example set by the U.S. GOVERNMENT. This is so shameful. I’m embarrassed for any of you that think this is okay or make excuses for it.

i know that there is an overwhelming number of things that we have historically taken for granted and now have to pay attention to and care about all of a sudden, but i am begging you to pay attention to and care about this, too.
NEW: I wrote about attacks on federal oversight of special ed and what it means for families like mine. I went into this thinking maybe MN kids would be ok, but "As I spoke to experts in federal disability education policy, I began to see the cracks."
