When takeover is imminent in 28 and we start planning out Medicare4All/Single Payer/Universal Healthcare it needs to include:
-Eye bones (Optometry)
-Teeth bones (Dental)
-Brain bones (Mental Health)
Also, be ambitious include free medication, all free at point of service

Got my bike fitted yesterday because of ongoing knee problems, and we raised the saddle like 4 cm! It made a big difference even on the ride home.

The snow finally receded enough that I could bike to get groceries. Still too nervous to ride at night though lest I not see a patch of ice. Maybe 28 degrees? I bundled up in a down Uniqlo puffer and a big wool sweater. And good gloves! Those make all the difference.

Having some knee pain. Went to the chiropractor and told him I got a new bike with lower handlebars. He noted that I was "sitting more aggressively" and now I'm going to make sure I'm always sitting as aggressively as possible.

Riding on California through Logan Square is awful at rush hour and even worse on Friday. Almost hit by some dick stuck in the intersection at Fullerton when I went through.
