In the factory of the future the two employees are a man and a dog. The man feeds the dog and the dog keeps the man from touching the equipment.

In this analogy, AI is the man, and We're the dog.
It’s so funny to think about the fact that there’s people out there deferring every life decision to this

Not trying to be a dick, but if you showed shuffled gameplay clips from all these action games, I would assume it was all from the same game.

If I never have to read another political drama disguised as a science fiction piece again it'll be too soon.

I'm just... I'm not here for that.

You're inspired by Tolkien? Cool. You want to write about the Houses and Factions?

That's Dramatic Fantasy.

Robots and Spaceships Don't Make it SciFi.

I did the thing! I emailed, cold, the author of a book I liked to tell them it was good, and to say thanks. Know what? That's a good idea. You were all correct. Everyone should do that.

I asoire to make something so glorious
One of the stupidest movies I've ever seen. It's not porn , nor does it even qualify as soft porn. The best part about it was the beautiful German countryside.

I've wanted to build a two-player zelda-like where your Link and Zelda are bound together by a chain.

One has a sword, the other has a shield, and the Chain is what powers up over time.

They pull eachother across the stage, reflect projectiles with the chain.

apologies for lack of alt text but i am yoo tired to type all this again

@ogre.red thinks terms if service are bullshit and licensing for poetry is unimportant because "who would steal a poem"

my advice would be to avoid doing business with this person

I keep watching this because it's so finely tuned. Margaret isn't just interrupting, she has a compulsion. She gives her answer, is briefly relieved that she scratched it, but over time the remorse and internal conflict rise. You see her internal struggle. Subtle comedy!

Idea: A retro console using an x pad instead of a d pad, with cardinal directions of nw, sw, ne, se.

The developer assumes that all action takes place in isometric planes.

I called in today because of that crash and the weather. It's 4 degrees, which means in some places it's going to be so cold that the salt doesn't work

My firstborn woke up at 4 am today and had trouble breathing.

I went to work and my wife stayed home with him.

He went to urgent care and was treated for asthma. He felt better for a while.

Now he's in the ER.

I'm stuck at a rest stop a half hour away because I had to stop and charge the car.

So if you're writing books, and even your 'bad guys' don't use language better described in single letters

And you don't need a better slur

Trust your audience
Trust your writing
Don't take shortcuts

It will lead to a better product.
If I see you use this word, I'll block you. If you use it "satirically" I'll block you. Using it at all today is a really fine test of character.

I've had some of my books edited because I used it twenty years ago and I'm ashamed today of having used it.
