I mean we do need to do something about social media poisoning everyone's brain but like cigarettes, alcohol, and nearly all drugs, I don't think simply "banning" it for people under a certain age is gonna do much, if anything. Like how does one propose to even enforce such a law?

The cover for the 1994 Cyberpunk sourcebook NeoTribes which introduces/expands upon the Nomad character class, the in-world history of Nomads, and what they get up to in the present day so you can get an idea of life outside of the big cities and play as a Nomad or a whole group of them.

The cover features a rather rough and tumble crew and their modified vehicles. The overall vibe is like Mad Max filtered through more sci-fi detritus.

In the setting, Nomad clans or tribes or families (I think the terminology has changed over various editions? Or maybe it depends on the scale of the particular Nomad group in question?) are folks who brave the vast wilds and wastelands between the major cities of North America delivering goods and personnel and contraband.

We tend to find a higher than expected number of Native Americans among the Nomads possibly because many of them come from rural communities particularly the Southwest. It’s nice they made an effort to include more Native representation in their setting, but I worry this would have suffered from the kinda embarrassing ‘90s fascination with Native culture that often went no deeper than some throwing around some superficial aesthetics.
