It's true master stroke is that is a game about, positioning. 80% of a match is putting your mech in the right spot in relation to your team and opponents. You dont have to be the sharpest knife's edge shot, in fact that only really matters when you get into the top 5-10% of the match ranking.

They not only sell the feeling of piloting each different perfectly but balance pvp matches really well. I'm constantly amazed how they have both tiny 20 ton mechs running around at 150kph and 100 ton mechs lumbering at 45kph. No other shooter would allow you as much variation in move speed.

Some time in the last month I have broken 4k MechWarrior Online matches. It remains a fantastic game. It feels genuinely unique in the shooter space. They deliver on the scale and speed of the setting really well.
