FYI: the “disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan” was negotiated and begun by…. Donald Trump

Also, in his last term, Trump mused about shooting protestors in the legs. The man is a convicted felon who issued illegal orders regularly to his top company officers.

So, even though "Trump’s D.C. National Guard Deployment Was Unlawful, Federal Court Finds", the administration is STILL ordering additional troops?

One can't help think that the guard members wouldn't have been shot if they hadn't been deployed to DC for optics. And now more will be sent? ? ?

In today's episode of "this regime doesn't care if you die" we have the FDA's drop of a proposed rule on asbestos testing in cosmetics.

But don't worry. They're working on a NEW rule. A BETTER rule. It will be the BEST RULE EVER.

Not.

So much for that pesky "congressional mandate" of 2022.

Did the D.C. mayor provide any proof or is this just an off-the-cuff claim without any evidence?

So far the reporting on this incident has had a lot of misinformation.
D.C. mayor says the National Guard members were victims of a "targeted shooting."

Sounds like she needs to be immediately jailed awaiting trial and sentencing.

Perhaps there is room in the Salvadoran facility for her ? ? ?
New Justice Department filings reveal that it was Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem who chose to defy a federal court order by transferring more than 100 Venezuelan men into Salvadoran custody to be imprisoned.

Wait . . . you mean the "peace plan" wasn't a real peace plan but possibly something cooked up by Witkoff and Russian assets?

Shocked, I tell you. Shocked.

"Gramps" for the win.

And SMH for the ignorance of the other guy.

Apparently "operations guidelines" go out the window--along with laws and the Constitution--when it comes to the actions of this Regime.

The 66-page ruling Tuesday by Senior U.S. District Judge R. Brooke Jackson of Colorado is a comprehensive rejection of a tactic regularly used by ICE to meet quotas set by the Trump administration. (via @cprnews.bsky.social)
Court demands end to unjustified warrantless arrests, restricting a tool ICE frequently uses to detain immigrants
Unless reversed on appeal, it is likely to place a severe restriction on ICE’s operations in Colorado.

A grassroots movement is calling on all Americans to abstain from shopping at Target, Amazon, and Home Depot during the holiday weekend over their support for Trump's authoritarian policies.

I encourage you to join — and shop small. https://weaintbuyingit.com/

Help me understand how a case--where several of the defendants actually plead guilty--is just dismissed.

Is it corruption?

Because that's what it smells like.
The prosecutor appointed to replace Fani Willis in Georgia moved to dismiss the election fraud conspiracy case against Trump & others. Judge McAfee just granted that motion. Case over.
BREAKING: Judge Scott McAfee grants motion to dismiss Georgia case against Trump, others.

The Fulton County case -- which resulted in guilty pleas by Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, Scott Hall, and Kenneth Chesebro -- is officially done.

Seems pretty spot on.
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

Sounds like someone who deserves to be laughed off the ballot.

Certainly not someone who can be counted on to have the necessary ethics and morals to serve as governor of anywhere.

Uhm . . . if they want the government to follow "gold standard science" perhaps they shouldn't have fired all of the scientists and other experts.

Just a thought.
The message is hammered over and over, in news conferences, hearings and executive orders: President Donald Trump and his health secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., say they want the government to follow “gold standard” science.

Seems pretty clear that they wouldn't be pushing back so hard against folks suggesting that only legal orders should be followed, if they didn't know that ILLEGAL orders were being given.

Otherwise, they would just say "you're right; only follow legal orders" -- right?
Calling them the “Seditious Six” & branding their statements “despicable” before review is textbook definition of prejudgment. No panel, judge, or reviewing authority can claim neutrality once the SECDEF declares the accused guilty. This looks like the procedures used in dictatorships, not the US.

Gosh . . . wonder why the Republican National Committee would be working to disenfranchise U.S. Citizens and subvert the rights of individual states.

You'd think they weren't in favor of democracy or the will of the people or something

Every Democrat in Congress should put out a video saying troops have an obligation to refuse unlawful orders. Make them prosecute all of you. This isn't a close call.

I'd add Republicans too if I thought any of them had the courage to actually cross Trump on this.

It's almost like corporate monopolies are bad or something. <sarcasm>
Tyson is one of just a few companies that controls the entire meat market.

Just last month, it paid $85M to settle charges it illegally conspired with other meatpackers to raise pork prices.

Corporate monopolies are great for executives and a raw deal for everyone else.
Tyson CEO Donnie King made $22.7 million last year.

The week before Thanksgiving, he told 3,200 workers in Lexington, Nebraska that they're losing their jobs.

Just to be clear, Hegseth is threatening Sen. Mark Kelly for LEGALLY reminding others that they are not obligated to follow ILLEGAL orders.

None of this has anything to do with "a servicemember's personal philosophy"

It pretty much says all you need to know about the current regime.

Appalling.
