What’s that evergreen post? “Once you realise that Republican politicians and Democrat politicians are both scared of Republican voters but neither party really gives a fuck about Democrat and progressive voters, you will understand American politics perfectly.”

Please talk to your legislators, #Hoosiers!

We can ask our legislators, Dem or otherwise, to introduce fair voting map bills. It seems clear that at least some Repub voters and legislators believe in fairer voting maps. But the pressure to conform to DC tyranny is strong.

On the other hand, it looks like the tide may finally be shifting?

“Worldwide, wind and solar are outpacing rising demand for electricity, meaning fossil fuel use will stay flat this year for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic.”

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

Centrist Democrats in the Senate folded on the shutdown, throwing away their leverage in exchange for worthless GOP promises.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

A reminder - last March, republicans promised to restore $1.1B in funding to DC in exchange for funding the government, and Mike Johnson never took it up in the House.

You can’t afford a coal mine.

You can’t afford a gas turbine.

You can’t afford an oil rig.

Only fossil fuel states and billionaires can.

But you can afford a solar power station on your roof.

Now, ask yourself why you encounter so much anti-renewable energy propaganda.

Health insurance is a legalized scam. One-third of many people's salary and it pays for nothing until you've already shelled out additional for a deductible that's well into the thousands. Even then, they may just say "No, we're not paying."

It's time for universal healthcare.
