Just a reminder, the layoffs in govt were just done out of spite, not necessity

When writing alt text for an image of text, it's not enough to just write "screen shot of text from article." Sighted users get to know what is in that screen shot, so why don't blind users deserve the same? The alt text should include all the actual text in the image.

The work gets cut. The queues get longer. Cases get dropped, services are ended or limited.

Helping to make government "small enough to drown in a bathtub"

True neutral. A soulless cog is lawful neutral. The Law is all, and evil and good don't matter.

The Judges in Judge Dredd would be a good example.

Kermit is neutral good. He doesn't care about the law as long as the cause is just.

He gets arrested in nearly every movie.

It's been going on for a decade. Christianity Today has been writing about it in depth.

Well, first, you should do what I did and look up PA election law and processes. You'll see exactly where your guys are in the process.

There's an automatic audit done for every election. It's been a few months, so I'm not going to misquote specifics.

Um.. I still think it's that. What did i miss?

The Democratic Attorneys General Association established a Legal Defense Fund for exactly this moment: when its members — including AG Tish James—are targeted by the Trump administration for political prosecution.

They have 3-4 more days to play fuckaround until checks don't go out. They sent everyone back to their districts to get the pulse of their people. Who are they gonna blame if soldiers don't get paid? If ICE doesn't get paid?

That's when the real game of chicken plays out.

He's floating the idea of nuking the filibuster. He's testing MAGA support for the idea.

SPY has a long way to drop before it hits the bottom of the "should be here" range. Gonna watch TACO in real time.

They aren't. They won't until Trump is no longer politically viable. There really isn't a republican party anymore. There are a few outliers. Like, South Carolina has a coalition of moderate republicans that keep us from trying to race Florida to the bottom.

MAGA keeps trying to purge them.

It helps if you really embrace the concept that they really are that racist. I mean deep in their bones racist.

In exchange for not counter-attacking Israel after Israel attacked the Hamas delegation.

It also allows them to be trained on the Export models of our aircraft rather than our current models. Would save us money on maintenance. 2/2

From the article. "Mountain Home has been used since 2009 by Singapore's air force, which has a detachment of F-15SG combat aircraft there as well as personnel."

It's a training base. I'm guessing they've got custom aircraft with controls in Arabic. 1/

Exactly. Right up there with the concept of importing illegal immigrants from *checks notes* predominantly and DEVOUTLY Roman Catholic countries .... is somehow a benefit to the DNC.

Well, I'd also require 60 votes to seat a Supreme Court nominee, but add the requirement that the appointment is automatic if there isn't a hearing within 30 days of nomination.

Impeachment rules are constitutionally 2/3rds. that wouldn't change. Still have to convince the better part of America that it's worth removing the President over.

They have. They think D.C. and Puerto Rico would automatically be Democratic strongholds. Maybe on D.C., but that isn't nearly a given with Puerto Rico.

It would also allow judges to recuse themselves from ethical conflicts. Still only need 9 to make a decision, but they can rotate.

While we are doing that, we can also strengthen ethical requirements and require Top Secret clearances with ongoing review.
