The reason you don't see organized counter protests by Patriot Front, Proud boys, etc like years passed is because they took the $50k signing bonus to be violent towards people... to provoke them and draw blood to satisfy Trump's lust for power.

There are TDY barracks on our military bases for things like training foreign pilots. There's no reason to build out their own section unless you want to allow foreign intelligence operations.

I've taken security lead for my local protest. I have "feelings" regarding MAGA, but I'm also a veteran who knows when to be professional and unbiased. Everyone present is a member of my community regardless of their position, ALL will be kept safe and local sheriff is in my loop
