You gotta admire Westlife and society as a whole for pretending that Brian McFadden was never a part of the band. Well done everybody.

A disabled friend of mine is living in constant fear that he will be sent to a nursing home. He's a very busy contributor to his parish, a relentless disability rights activist, and a vibrant presence in his community. He has a lot of life left to live, he just needs a little help to live it.
There were 1,209 people under the age of 65 living in nursing homes at the end of December 2025.

It's only a reduction of 140 since publication of Ombudsman's 'Wasted Lives' report five years ago.

This is a human rights failure.

Pace of change has been far too slow.

Just did this.

"Rude" is essentially a shadowban and is capriciously applied.

"Rude or impolite, including crude language and disrespectful comments, without constructive purpose."

Dudes, your CEO was shrieking "Waffles!" at people.

Shimon Goldwater, a partner in Asserson Solicitors, said the learning that students missed out on during Covid "was one of the great injustices to come out of the pandemic".
This is insane!!!! My sister worked on Covid wards wearing a plastic apron & paper mask. Millions died!!! Bodies piled high
This is emblematic of the consumer culture that fees have engendered.

What the hell did the students expect? It was a ONCE IN A CENTURY PANDEMIC. There were LAWS against congregating in public. Staff worked themselves to the bone to get online delivery working.

Students begin Covid compensation claim against 36 more universities

Ok. I hate comedy snobbery cos is for everyone no matter what, but there's something enraging about some acting grads arrogantly going up on stage with what can only be described as a syllyoque, dying on their holes without ever doing the basic learning & then blame the audience when it goes badly.

A former colleague told me she loved Vogue Williams and her podcast.
I asked her if she talks about how she thinks internment camps are a necessity.

She replied, "No, not mentioned that now".

People that like Vogue Williams don't seem to be aware of her opinions.

Upon watching Wuthering Heights, I had not watched nor read any other versions.

And judging by all your reactions to it, Neither had Emerald Fennel.
