A man (a crossing guard!) is dead at the hands of a dump truck driver, and the Mayor is here to tell us that people walking and cycling have "a role to play in keeping our community safe."

No, Andrea. The dump truck driver has to not kill people, and you have to not let him kill people. That's it!
