Its not about Gen AI being in games really(I mean it is, fuck GenAI)
Its just about the sheer fact that so many lie about it, dont reveal it. And so you have to suspect every god damn game is using it in some way and have to hope you dont stumble upon it now.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Every time I learn that a game was made using AI, I make a note to never buy it. Every time I learn that a games company is using AI without disclosing it, I make a note to never buy anything from them ever again, even items from their back catalogue predating gen-AI.

Every time I learn that a game was made using AI, I make a note to never buy it. Every time I learn that a games company is using AI without disclosing it, I make a note to never buy anything from them ever again, even items from their back catalogue predating gen-AI.

except that the ideology of zionism is explicitly settler colonialism, which was the basis under which the state of israel was founded, and mizrahim were not part of zionists’ original vision of a european colony in the middle east. they arrived after 1948 once the state had been established.
I'm pretty sure that people write that because the way that the term is used is in such a way as to argue that the greater part of Israel's Mizrahi population malevolently conspired to become refugees, because otherwise the term would not serve as justification for annihilating politics.
