it is incredibly depressing and annoying being in the zone at 5am, but having to force my brain to wind down to maybe get three hours of sleep to do Normal People Things like work the next day. i wish my brain didn’t do this!!!

Every few months I get a discount email for @kaleidoscope.app and as much as I want to support good software, I just cannot rationalize buying into a subscription for a diff viewer.
I think they'd get me if they adopted the Sketch model where you can keep using the last version you paid for.

honestly i've been working on this for so long that i do not know what to do with myself now that i must take a break
i worked 12-16 hours a day on a prototype for the past two weeks and i didnt get the initial reaction i wanted which means the 12-16 hour days continue

3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment.
2 weeks later they rescinded the offer due to “headcount issues”.
