I thought we were told words do not equal violence and so to claim otherwise is a problem. What happened to that fucking crowd? Or do words equal violence now?

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

🤦♂️Presently reviewing a grant that has, average, 3 abbreviations per sentence. Many sentences have 6 or more.
I'd throw out that if your text has more than one abbreviation per sentence -- which is already a lot -- you are just frustrating your reviewers.
Don't make your reviewers hate you.

An abbreviation (ABB) in a journal article (JA) or Grant Application (GA) is rarely worth the words it saves. Every ABB requires cognitive resources (CR) and at my age by the time I'm halfway through a JA or GA I no longer have the CR to remember what your ABB stood for.

So, I actually thought the final, Northwestern-produced video about antisemitism and anti-Muslim bias wasn’t terrible.
Other modules were some of the most insipid, infuriating content I’ve ever had the misfortune to be assigned to me.
