Sem zagovornik pravice do pomoči pri prostovoljnem končanju življenja. Mislim, da mora vsakdo imeti pravico do humanega zaključka, če si tako želi. Se je pa potrebno zavedati, da je prepričanje, da je takšna odločitev v vseh kontekstih individualna in prostovoljna, popolnoma iluzorna in naivna. 1/6

Uh, umrl je tudi Armand Mattelart, osrednji kritični komunikolog 20. stoletja. Samo od oktobra so se poslovili on, Virno in Offe. V slovenščino je bila pri Maski prevedena knjiga Kako brati Jako Racmana, ki jo je še pred Pinochejevo diktaturo napisal z Arielom Dorfmanom. Knjigo so kasneje zažigali.

Mislim, da je osnovna predpostavka tukaj napačna. Večina milijarderjev se povsem dobro zaveda posledic, ampak jim je popolnoma vseeno. Toliko denarja imajo, da bodo te spremembe imele le malo vpliva na njihovo življenje in življenje njihovih bližnjih.
Težava kritikov zaenkrat neavtonomnih robotkov je, da tega zares ne rabiš avtomatizirati. Ljudje iz bogatih držav bodo preprosto lahko outsourcali svoje gospodinjsko delo na farme v revnih državah, brez dosedanjih “težav” z nedokumentiranimi migrantskimi delavci. Out of Sight, Out of Mind.

Težava kritikov zaenkrat neavtonomnih robotkov je, da tega zares ne rabiš avtomatizirati. Ljudje iz bogatih držav bodo preprosto lahko outsourcali svoje gospodinjsko delo na farme v revnih državah, brez dosedanjih “težav” z nedokumentiranimi migrantskimi delavci. Out of Sight, Out of Mind.
