In any other country, if federal agents fired upon journalists when unprovoked — what would we call it?

If federal agents marched down streets demanding papers — what would we say?

Authoritarianism — let’s not pretend it’s something else when it happens in our American cities.

Nobody really knows what the hell they are doing. We’re all just winging it to the best of our ability/knowledge.

Also, try to be kind to everyone but especially to people in retail/service industry.

You'll make more friends and learn far more admitting it than creating BS. We all know certain things well - no one knows it all.

Also - learn the signs that someone is full of BS
There's absolutely zero shame to admitting you don't know something.

100% and this will not be easy. It's so hard to reprogram that mess away. 47 and I still catch myself thinking and feeling things that don't matter but they certainly did at a formative age.

A wise friend recently said "will I care about this in 6 months?" if not - let it go or don't care. 100%
Letting go of shame is the path to real happiness. The sooner you stop trying to be "cool" or "popular", the happier you'll be. Embrace your weird and your cringe. Trying to impress people who you don't even like is never worth the effort.

Fuck the grind culture. It’s not worth ruining your mental and physical health for a job. Take the PTO. Take the sick time. Take your breaks and lunch.

Wear sunblock regularly. If you wear low cut shirts, sunblock there as well.

Maybe we all should be wearing tin foil hats🤷.
Passive here is tubes on the roof, essentially and slow flow
Passive works for some - I have a spa so the heater makes that so lovely. Heater is only used when we want to swim.

I can’t imagine keeping a pool heated in Vermont!
