Faine pulls together several interrelated stories, use of NOTAMs esp. to prohibit flight around DHS, restrictions on imports of foreign drones.
I wrote about MAGA’s war against normal American drone users - and how they’re trying to take control of the skies for themselves.

What really weirds me out is how casual these messages are. There's no greeting, no courtesy, not even a complete sentence.

I text with my wife with more civility.

Don't ever buy GOP tsk-tsk on tone or propriety when they use it to put women, POCs, and dissenters in general "in their place".

The Arkansas constitution forbids officials who were appointed to a position from running to keep it when it next appears on the ballot. Next month, two state supreme court justices are working around that – by running for each other’s seats.

So DOD risked civilian airspace to obliterate some fucking balloons; when FAA found out and asked them to stop they refused; FAA did what it had to keep people safe; when the public rightly freaked out, DOD relented, lied, and blamed the FAA.

Sounds like Hegseth!

There are ~160k homeless people in NYC alone, over 800k in the country.

How much will the Pentagon spend on coal? What will they DO with it?

I never again want to hear about wasteful government spending from a Republican.

From Cathy Renna, Communications Director, National LGBTQ Task Force: "They can take down a flag, but they can’t take down our history. The removal of the rainbow flag from the Stonewall National Monument is another reminder that efforts to chip away at LGBTQ+ visibility are happening in real time. What stands at Stonewall is more than a landmark; it’s sacred ground rooted in resistance, liberation, and the legacy of trans and queer trailblazers who changed the course of history.
