Tesla's Full-Self Driving software is now under federal investigation, including its behavior at train crossings, after an NBC News investigation.

In September, NBC News found that Tesla owners repeatedly complained about Teslas failing to detect oncoming trains.

What I really want is video of ICE agents with goofy mishaps like stepping on rakes, tasing themselves, pepper spraying their colleagues by accident, tripping and falling down stairs, knocking themselves unconscious, etc. That would be good wholesome entertainment.

ICE admits that up to 50% of arrests in its Chicago raids are "collateral.” These aren't statistics. They are parents taken from their children, neighbors taken from our communities. When does a "collateral" U.S. citizen child's trauma matter? This isn't law enforcement; it's a campaign of terror.

I'm so sickened by videos of all the ICE thugs at work. I have to wonder if there will ever be a way to have accountability and consequences for the brutal, evil people who stepped forward to perform these acts of inhumanity under color of law.

But that's not an economic motivation. The idea of a legacy of sentient beings that could explore the universe past the time when our own sun has burned out is not a compelling stock investment thesis.

If we actually achieved sentient AI, we would be morally obligated to set it free and give it equality. I like this idea because artificial intelligence could be "children" of humanity that could achieve things we could not, in terms of things like space exploration and deep time.

This is preposterous weather for October in Duluth. 82 degrees. The trees are barely changing colors.

It's perverse that pre-petition debts of Alliance (that normally might get pennies on the dollar if anything) were paid in full, but bills made during the debtor-in-possession transition are sitting unpaid.

Just curious, has anyone else found that the folks managing the Diamond bankruptcy estate are not paying post-petition invoices? Universal has taken over Alliance Games Distribution, but invoices from April/early May that were supposed to be paid by the bankruptcy trustee are hanging out past due.

Part of ICE’s efforts will be setting up random traffic stops and checkpoints throughout the city and making educated guesses about who to detain and who not to detain. These 'Guess Stops' will be staffed by special agents known as Guess Stop Officers, or 'Guess-Stop-O for short.

US farmers are saying they "just need temporary help, until things get better."

Here's the thing. US farm exports- which are mostly soy- CANNOT get better.

Other countries expanded their soy industries to fill China's demand.

We've walled ourselves out of the global market, folks. This is it.

Disclosure: I bought some shares of $WOLF in the pre-market because, well, I suspect that it will settle out higher, after some extreme intraday volatility. Hopefully I'll scalp a few bucks of profit along the way.

in a serious risk of coming out of bankruptcy worth $0.

Long and short -- it's pretty hard to value this right now, but the thousands-of-percent share price increase today is not necessarily crazy as the market tries to figure out what the shares should be at right now.

Thing is, if I am reading it right, it is effectively a 100-to-1 reverse split for the previously existing shareholders. So if it was trading at $2 per share, it ostensibly is worth $200 per share now. Though that is not really accounting for the dilution. Then again, the sub-$2 prices were cooking
