I have yet to find better pupusas than at DC United games (both at RFK Stadium and Audi Field), and the breakfast cinnamon rolls at the Holiday Inn Express on Route 13 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia have absolutely no excuse for being so good.

Cato has done some really good work of late. I may disagree with them on a lot of economics, but I respect the hell out them.

I mean, isn't one option here that he knew he'd peaked in Virginia the day he was elected, and his term was about establishing his bonafides to a national GOP that's entirely driven by culture? Actually governing seemed completely incidental to him.
youngkin thought he could be a culture war governor like ron desantis and did not seem to understand the still-extremely parochial political culture of richmond.
