The show deals more with how the response to Chernobyl is handled by the USSR. How truth is covered up, and twisted, and regurgitated to avoid responsibility and scapegoat innocent people.

It contrasts the best and worst of humanity, in the first responders and apparatchiks respectively.

1) my team lead was not talking to me, and does not expect me to work, or

2) my team lead just called me a man.

You referred to one group, which contains and is largely comprised of a minority (trans women) that is under brutal attack from nearly all angles right now.

You insulted a group containing a large percentage of trans women... by calling them all men.

See how that's gross, even if unintentional?

I really wish people would stop talking about "parental rights" as if they're a thing. They're not! It's a misnomer!

Parents have *responsibilities* to exercise the Charter rights of a minor in their care on the minor's behalf, if they are not able to do so.

They do not have "rights" over them.

So regularly destroyed is trans stuff that it's an obscure fact that 2 words beginning with trans (transfeminate and transection) were in English dictionaries to describe someone who 'changed sex' from the mid 1600s until well into the 20th century.

My girlfriend and I love Bill and Ted. He started incorporating their speech mannerisms into our lexicon and now we're regularly calling things bodacious, or most unrighteous.
