I agree that we should not judge Farage solely on the racist things he said when he was a kid. We should also judge him on the racist things he has done with the entire rest of his life.

Putting Dr Høeg in charge "is like dropping an atom bomb," an agency source said.

"Multiple top-level officials are preparing resignations."

"It's an extinction level event. She's has never supervised a drug review, never has conducted a clinical trial. She doesn't understand laws &regulations."
Even ignoring Dr. Høeg's antivaccine views and obvious bias, she has no qualifications for the job. She does not know regulations, she does not know drug approvals, and she has no expertise in any relevant scientific area.
No wonder people are resigning.

No, Progressives Don’t Want “Purity.” They Just Want Some Courage.
When left-leaning Democrats complain about corporate influence, it’s not a “purity test.” It’s a demand for a better politics.

A church member at Urban Village Church sent this one along, where Mary, Joseph and Jesus are gone and replaced with a sign that reads: “Due to ICE activity in our community, the Holy Family is in hiding.”

Exactly. If you want to change the Constitution you can do so by passing a fucking Amendment like every other bloc in history.

But because they don’t enjoy enough support for that they think they can do so by fiat.
so much of the conservative legal revolution seems to outright reject the idea that democratic publics legitimately constituted can fix the meaning of the constitution without formal amendment.
