The Rs have had since March to make a freaking budget and have failed in their own party to come up with a viable budget, let alone a bipartisian budget. They (Rs) clearly will not negotiate in good faith either.

If you judge those relying on SNAP benefits, but overlook the big corporations profiting from them, it's time for a rethink. Contrary to GOP claims, most recipients do work when they can. When they're not, it's often due to health or caregiving, not laziness.

1. About 1 in 2 children will receive SNAP benefits at some point and 1 in 4 children are receiving benefits in a given month.

I think we often get lost in labels, esp Big D and the Big R label. It prevents us from looking at what does and doesn't work. Why can't we just be pro-people, pro-healthcare, pro-business, pro-military, pro-immigration, pro-edu and defend the Constitution's principles anywhere they're threatened.
