Makes me think of Asimov who on certain stories was rumored to write the ending, and then decide on a starting point from which he would write until he arrived at the ending he already had.

Was asking about what erasers to use to carve stamps before, and found these today at Sekaido: erasers specifically for stamp-making. One type even has 2 layers of different colors, so you can easily see your design emerge!

I saw one of these the other day! I would've sworn to god and a few saints it was a hummingbird, but of course, it couldn't have been. Noticing some full-bodied butterflies out right now, too. I know little about the lifecycle, but they looked to be putting on a few pounds for winter.

Trying to remember which chain it is that has pretty good cheese fries... That's not the weirdest thing, but it may be the most out-of-place thing I routinely get. The beef sushi options are getting interesting with basil sauces, melted cheese, &c.

This had a nice coconut milk creaminess to it. It's a little sweet, but there's a touch of pepperiness that keeps it from being bland, too. This was a pleasant meal that I'd welcome again. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it rolls better.

I'm currently undergoing my Ph.D. program at Sophia University researching the role and experiences of foreign language teachers in Japan. My study looks at how diversity, teaching practices, and internationalization are shaping our work in schools.

It's nice to see pictures of my cousins' kids since I live abroad. I've received a few translation and editing jobs through social media, as well. One of which resulted in writing a few episodes for a cartoon that ran for a little bit, which is something I wish I could do more of.
