We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

The font they're using for the Japanese release of Project Hail Mary is neat in how it emulates the English font.
I really enjoyed this book, and I hope the movie is equally great. I think it'll be more of a challenge to adapt than The Martian was.

This is your local localization editor telling you to absorb the things Tom says. Only Ursula K. Le Guin revisiting her own work gets to do whatever she wants with quotation marks (for now—someday things may shift).
I don't know which of my kouhais need to hear this, but because I'm seeing this in a ton of commercial J>E game locs: you really shouldn't retain quotation marks in the same places as the Japanese source text 9 times of 10, especially outside dialogue. Punctuation parity in general is often sloppy.

Incredibly disheartened to see a local ramen place is closing down. I only started going recently & it's great! Everything beautifully cooked with a fish-based broth. Sometimes the lines were long—this was a fancy but affordable local spot—but I guess not long enough often enough.

I wasn't that enthused for the new Running Man movie (to be fair, I don't get that excited about seeing things when they come out that often), but now that I know Edgar Wright directed it, I am pretty keen on it.

Sad to hear of Motoyama Kazuki's passing. I remember the Mario manga being one of the first that I picked up for reading practice, and it was a hoot.
