Dude is friends with one of the dumbest senators in the history of the country.

He was happy to follow those orders.

Understanding that Russians see agreements and treaties only as tools to further war aims, President of Poland rightly explains that Russia is nothing but lies, upon lies, seeking only to destroy – the only thing they know.

I don't know where this 2023 complaint led, but Phillips and Engelbrecht made numerous demonstrably-false claims in 2000 Mules (I have receipts) so if there were irregularities in the "nonprofit" finances as well, it would not surprise me.

Who would dividing the military help? Just think for a moment. Putin?
That’s what those illegal orders are about.

Big Oil is "wildly desperate to dodge the growing array of lawsuits over the damage caused by their decades-long scheme to deceive the public about climate change," writes @aaronregunberg.bsky.social.

The fossil fuel industry is again urging the Supreme Court to help them escape accountability.
The Supreme Court’s Ethics Code Is a Joke. Big Oil Knows That.
Oil companies want the Supreme Court to intervene to dismiss lawsuits about climate change. Amy Coney Barrett and Samuel Alito both have big conflicts of interest on that front.

Reporter: You said that that second strike was in full accordance with the law of armed conflict but the Navy's own manual of law of war says that specifically firing on survivors from a wrecked vessel is an example of a war crime that's forbidden under U.S. Law and the law of armed conflict…

Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?

Trump’s drive to secure peace in Ukraine must not let Putin off the hook for war crimes committed by Russian forces, warned the EU commissioner for justice and democracy, effectively setting a new red line for a deal.
EU tells Trump: You can’t pardon Putin for war crimes in Ukraine
Any move to “wipe the slate clean” for Russia in a peace deal would be “a historic mistake of huge proportions,” the EU justice commissioner tells POLITICO.

Department of Defense Law of War Manual, Sec. 18.3.2.1 states the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders.

What’s its key example? Wait for it . . . It’s "orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."

The explosion in CEO pay relative to the pay of workers isn’t because CEOs have become so much more valuable than before. They've just gamed the system to line their pockets. Is it any wonder why so many working people feel the game is rigged against them? (It is.)

I’ve never been a “defund the police” type of guy. I believe that police are necessary, despite their flaws.

But ICE is different. I am 100% behind ending their existence and prosecuting every single one of them.

ICE must go. End of discussion.
