Actually understanding how LLMs/genAI works must be a disqualifying attribute for this job.

Because, again, it does not think. It's a complex set of probabilities spitting out glamorized predictive text. It can never be sentient.

These people are like a deranged cyberpunk techno cult.

If any of you have a smart AF, funny and worldly big sister (or other such loved one) in your life like I am lucky to have, today is a great day to call them.

Mine gave me a tinge of hope that the world is not doomed.

And we also talked about great TV shows.

I've said this many times. Art is the process, a struggle undertaken by humans, not the end result and it's why AI can never create art (that and it's a planet killing theft machine)

This is a lovely example of that.
Turned my frustration into art.

A lot of real Christians and other religious leaders in the news lately doing brave, powerful acts of resistance. #Respect
Police have arrived. Arrests seem imminent. The crowd chants “let them pray” and “Minnesota nice means prosecute ICE”

Temperatures are going to drop to close to -40 overnight. If you're somewhere warm you should not take that for granted. There are so many people who don't have somewhere safe and warm to go. Bissell helps them survive in this harsh weather.

Help me help them.

Important news for us writers from across the NYC subway tracks:

Absolute respect for and solidarity with the good, courageous and inspiring people of #Minneapolis
I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

World leaders always look so much greener on the other side of the border, don't they?

Except that orange 'leader' that absolutely no one with a soul respects.

I just can't stop thinking about how even some of the most terrifying and depraved known serial killers draw the line at harming kids.

What are you if you don't even have *that* line?

If you haven't yet, there's still time to donate to Bissell to help them keep our unhoused neighbours stay warm and safe. I'm still looking for $165 to reach my goal!
