Mostly panoramic photography. Usually about NYC.
Also fountain pens, stationery, journaling, random minutiae, films, food/wine. Usually crabby.

Seeing those Film Ferrania emails again, just makes me mad all over again about that color slide they never delivered.
And before you say it, I get it. You like their BW film. A big good for you but that’s not what many of us pledged.
Nope I don’t hold grudges. 🤣

TIL that @shandy.bsky.social of Boring Books for Bedtime is on Bsky. Her wonderful podcast often helped me find rest during the difficult times during the pandemic and a few years after. Her reading of Journey to the Western Isles of Scotland is a favorite.

Miss my city’s gritty look. The same corner is now all sanitized and like anywhere else. Glad I caught it while it was still gross and beautiful at the same time. 😆 [Lomo 800, Sprocket Rocket]

Ok y’all. Halloween was a week ago, but I’m still listening to this one. And if I could sing like him, I’d never shut up.

An Inky Thursday Theme today - Condiments, Flavorings, and Seasonings. There are a good number of inks inspired by flavorings that make food more interesting! Some savory, some sweet. And I just realized 3 Oysters Mustard should have been on this page as well. No room, anyway #fountainpen

Super fun 35mm screening of Jacques Tati’s TRAFIC at Anthology Film Archives. Newly acquired print from the Tati Estate. And some scraps for my journaling enjoyment.

Been an XPan user almost 10 years. At the time I could have either a Leica M6 or XPan (each was the same price used).
Some folks thought I was a fool for going pano because of elec and well, it’s not a Leica. M6 just didn’t fit me. It’s been a lovely pano road & no regrets.

Sometimes I go to other places to pano. This is beautiful St Margaret’s at Cliffe in the UK. Nearby is a restaurant where I had the biggest fish & chips plate in my life. The English sparkling rose wine was pretty good!
Proper photo + documented meal (phone pic on that one, sorry) 🤣

My girlfriend from Peru got me these wonderful leg warmers from an artisan but my calves don’t fit em (too chonk from all the walking I do), so they’re arm warmers 🤣

Can there be a more perfect comfort movie? For me, probably not. 😁
I love the whole atmosphere of the Basil Rathbone 1939 film of ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’
