I am glad some politicians are finally, FINALLY, refusing to fund ICE and some talking about abolition.

But where is the screaming, where are the strong words, where is the horror and the remedy for the detention centers? There is no excuse. Free everyone, shut down, then investigate and prosecute.

Voting NO on the DHS funding bill is the bare minimum.

Backing Kristi Noem’s impeachment is the bare minimum.

Holding law-breaking ICE agents legally accountable is the bare minimum.

ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.

If this is what they do when they're out on the street with people pointing cameras at them, what do you think is happening inside the ICE prison camps that they keep denying Members of Congress access to?

Like many across the Jim Crow South, my father paid a poll tax to register to vote. He kept this receipt in his Bible as a reminder of the price he had to pay to exercise the sacred right to vote.

The 24th Amendment, ratified 62 years ago today, ended the use of poll taxes in federal elections.

MAHA doctors elevated themselves, and RFK & Trump to power, by claiming that COVID mitigations would lead troops in the street.

Now, they are part of an administration putting troops in the street.

Remember those who enabled on the way.

My latest for SBM.
MAHA Gave Us MAGA 2.0.  Remember the Enablers.
When the history of this sad era is written, MAHA doctors will be disgraced pariahs and cautionary tales.  Everyone else should be remembered based only on whether they tried to put the brakes on MAH
