Just a little reminder to enjoy the #art process. Something that colored pencils have taught me is the importance of taking the time that things need to be properly done, enjoying the slowness instead of feeling frustrated by it.

dogs did not stay chill, migraine has not let up, BUT

the sanitation supervisor personally calling to apologize and say he's added my house to the "they participate, do not miss" list re: composting in a low compliance area is genuinely an amazing present. i have put in so many 311 complaints!!
happy birthday to me, i was able to stand up without immediately collapsing in agony and the dogs have been chill and cuddly thus far. if the migraine lets up i may even be able to get stuff to make cupcakes.

Those are allegations a group of school districts is making against the social media giants, according to a newly unsealed legal filing that quotes the companies’ own internal documents. https://cnn.it/3Xjq5x5

My mom told her physical therapist she wears a mask because her husband and daughter are immunocompromised. The PT said she is too but isn't worried bc she knows if she dies she is going to heaven. Then her co-worker yelled, “Shut up Debbie you wear a seatbelt and take blood pressure meds” 👀

If you are using AI in *any* capacity, even fun little ones you think don't matter, just stop, don't actively (I say actively cause it's being forced on us all...) engage at *all* on any front. Choke the beast.

i spent hours yesterday trying to find reference images and couldn't get any engines to to filter out AI generated results, so am now researching how to FILTER OUT AI bc i needed NATURE REFERENCES and AI generated results defeated the purpose. the answer seems to be "you can't."

we fucked up guys 🫠
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

Today, she's too tiny for a Bailey Chair, so her foster made her an upright basket seat to help her eat safely. Pupdates to come ❤️‍🩹
