Repair of the century right here. The one part in my stash I've had since a kid has finally proved useful... Fixed the Macintosh portable inverter with a transformer from a scanner
Definitely gets rid of the fishy smell...

New White House renovation looks alright to me
Today it was ARP.
The customer got a new PBX, and the company that installed it added a little 8-port PoE switch to the network to power the new IP phones. They didn't set it up, and its default static IP address clashed with the internet router. So everyone had strange connectivity issues… πŸ˜‘
Yeah, but why the single machine approach? You have a couple ones IIRC, so why not give each machine their reason to exist?

Heute: Ende einer Γ„ra: Beliebter Senf wird umbenannt

Als ich jung war, galt noch die Journalismusregel, dass die Schlagzeile die Meldung zusammenfassen muss. Also etwa so:
β€žDΓΌsseldorfer Mostertβ€œ muss wegen Übersiedlung umbenannt werden.
I'm team "etc" (I don't own a truck, too impractical for daily use, if I need to haul stuff I use a trailer on my little car)
I'm an absolute fan of those green elastic cargo nets. They keep everything where it belongs and are super easy to use.
If you're expecting rain, add a tarp beneath the net.

Sisyphus is the Greek god of CrossFit, and no, I don't care to elaborate on that.
