LRP: having a character just outright say what they are feeling is a really boring way to characterize them. not to mention it removes all ambiguity from their emotional state, which is a problem for genres like mystery, horror, etc.

Kinda glad I never watched this at the height of zombie fever cause I probably would have hated it. I know it invented a lot of modern zombie tropes but I was so tired of that shit back then.

This is good though, very worthy of its reputation. Also based Godspeed on the OST.

I really can't get over no one finding Jason or the bodies during the entire boat sequence. Those hallways are the size of a long elevator and no one ever runs into him or wonders where their friends are.

Why? so they can do the "find the body and scream" trope during the 3rd act again.

I remember hating this and I don't think I can say I hate it but it is really fucking boring. Ignoring the whole "not even in NY even when it says it is" thing, the kills are boring the characters are flat. Fuck, Kane Hodder doesn't even do any real stunt work.
