If there are still progressive park board abolitionists, the conservative outage that is going to take place over the next 4 years at this board may be their best opportunity ever to get majority support for eliminating it

I watched livestream. Appears a single MPD officer held down the lobby for a long time, calm, unbothered. Then Mr. Tactical comes running, can barely move in all his gear, flinging gas+grenades wildly. Somehow manages to start bleeding profusely from face?, in a breathless panic the entire time.
So there's a lot about this that's kind of hilarious but my favorite is that MPD is not providing any better of a response to ICE than they do for residents (especially if they're mad at your City Council rep)
