Yes! Doug Jones is running for governor of ‘bama.
So I’ve made it official folks: I’ve filed the paperwork to run for Governor of Alabama. It’s time to remind this state of who we are and what we can accomplish together.

The decisions we make in public policy have consequences. And when regional decisions intersect with global ones, climate change can exacerbate poor choices. The converse is true as well poor global decisions can have negative impacts on regional & local conditions. 🧪🔌💡☀️💨💧🔋

„Quiet, Piggy!“ Just think about that for a minute, and what it means to live in a time when a President can assault a woman in public like that without any consequences.
It‘s quite a testimony to the age of regression we live in.

This year's #Arctic sea ice freeze-up is clearly the latest on record for the Baffin Bay region (located between Greenland and the Canadian Arctic Archipelago). The extent of ice cover is a record low for the date there.

The 12-month running mean global temperature anomaly continues to fall from its peak (temporary), which is mostly in response to cooler conditions over the equatorial Pacific Ocean during the last year (weak La Niña state).

This graphic predicts future temperatures, based on continued accelerated warming:

1.50°C by 2026
2.00°C by 2036
2.50°C by 2045
2.85°C by 2050

Of course, a lot of non-linearities are possible before 2050. Like a net-zero, carbon-free, sustainable vegan utopia. Or the other ...

Huh, so there's at least species of New World killifish that's sometimes protogynous. Now THAT'S cool! 🌍🌿⚒️🐟

It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.
