Mostly mediocre, but I did get to play a guaranteed 0% title I've had in my back pocket for months, so I'll call it a win.

REFLECTION IN A DEAD DIAMOND is so fucking great, y'all. So. Fucking. Great. Their best yet. I don't understand how they can construct films like they do and not lose the thread, but goddamn. Another winner.

I've never been able to see a Cattet and Forzani film in a theater.

Until tonight! Fuck yeah, let's do this, REFLECTION IN A DEAD DIAMOND.

Udo Kier, absolute legend. A lowkey great performance by him you might not know was playing the evil parrot equivalent to Scooby Doo on SCOOBY-DOO! MYSTERY INCORPORATED. RIP, sir. You presence will be missed.

Every moment that Udo Kier was on screen was a treat, even in the worst movies, and I'm grateful we have so many of them. I'm glad that it sounds like he got to live his best life in semi retirement in Palm Springs, he deserved it with one of the most insane filmographies in film history

Doesn't feel real that Udo Kier will never again turn up in a ludicrously terrible film and make it watchable while he's onscreen. Irreplaceable.

Eleven years ago, I had the nicest, intimate conversation with Udo. When an infamously pushy event-crasher tried to nudge his way into our chat by sitting down and awkwardly snickering at a joke Udo had just told me, he turned and went, "Why are you laughing?! That wasn't for you! Fuck off!" LEGEND.
