Unbelievable.

Very few things piss me off more than anti-vax morons killing their children.

These people were misled by the media.

You can’t run a campaign that wins when every second of media coverage is negative for your candidate and overlooks every fault of the other guy. Not to even mention social medias role, which is unforgivable as well.
For Celia Monreal, a former Trump voter, one Senate vote can mean the difference between keeping health coverage or going uninsured.

“Considering the bills and everything else, we wouldn’t be able to afford a $1,500 a month increase for health insurance,” Monreal told journalist Chris Vazquez.

I’m sorry, but if Democrats were in power, would this not be in the headlines every single day?
Average electricity cost increase since Jan:

Missouri ⬆️ 37%
Iowa ⬆️ 30%
North Dakota ⬆️ 30%
Oklahoma ⬆️ 30%
New Jersey ⬆️ 27%
Nebraska ⬆️ 25%
Montana ⬆️ 25%
Wyoming ⬆️ 23%

NATIONWIDE ⬆️ 11%

Instead of working to lower costs, Trump is boosting power-hungry AI data centers.

Yeah, let your sons and daughters die so that oil companies can make more money.

That’ll be real popular.

I’ve now seen multiple anti-conspiracy theory threads on here about the JFK assassination and other subjects….which is just kind of interesting days after congress has voted to release files detailing a conspiracy involving global elites.

Maybe read the room, comrades?

The real Great Replacement Theory.
Elon is feeding entire families in Bangladesh who are just pumping out AI slop to halfwits In Oklahoma. It’s actually really funny when you step back and take a look at things
I had a popular account with a valuable audience and my Twitter payout was $80 a month-ish, to the point where I disabled monetization instead of uploading my ID. Payouts are only material if you live in a developing country, so “guy in Nigeria posting right-wing Amerislop” has taken over the site.

This thread is interesting to me only because we are going to see a pushback against conspiracy theories amongst younger generations, and then their kids will push back against that as Pollyannish thinking etc etc.
We do know who killed JFK. The Warren Commission was an incredibly thorough and good-faith effort to prove and document what had happened, which they did. The conspiracy theories arose in spite of best efforts to avoid them, but there really isn't anything they could have reasonably done better.
My first political memory - exactly 62 years ago right now, a 4-year-old boy trying to understand his mom's tears - is still the biggest event in my lifetime. We still (IMO) don't *really* know who killed JFK, but we know the public's trust was shattered. It's a straight line to today's mess

Periodic reminder that the original head of Hillsdale College divorced his first wife to marry his mistress, an employee.

While married to wife #2 he was alleged to have had an affair with his own son’s wife who committed suicide on campus.

They’d prefer you not know all that though.

My first European ancestors came to America in 1635 and my Native American ancestors were of course here already and I want the rest of you to leave.
Neither Trump, nor half of his cabinet have “ancestors” who were in North America before the revolution. I’d guess that less than half of current US citizens do. “Your ancestors” is doing a lot of implicitly white Christian nationalist work here.

Anti socialism and anti communism are proto fascist ideologies and the dem parts are showing what they believe and it’s fascist propaganda not reality.

Hakeem is literally voting for Nazi propaganda
The House of Representatives voted 285–98 in favor of a resolution condemning socialism.

86 Dems joined Republicans in supporting the measure, incl. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

Thank you, @repdexteror.bsky.social for having the good judgment to vote nay.

“Wow, nobody reads anymore.”
It’s very funny as a politician to write a book no one gives a shit about while also pissing off the party apparatus that would do one of those scam things where they buy a bunch of copies and let them rot in a warehouse to pretend it’s a huge hit
"The Barnes and Noble in York—where Fetterman was born and raised—had sold zero copies. The Barnes and Noble in Philadelphia had sold two copies. An independent store in Pittsburgh and an independent store in Philadelphia each told me they weren’t stocking Unfettered" defector.com/john-fetterm...
