“We’ve seen outstanding results, such as the Elizabeth line, where passenger numbers have outpaced forecasts & continued to grow; the Dartmoor Line where passenger demand was 50% higher than projected; & the Northumberland Line, where the annual forecast was exceeded within the first 3 months” 👏👏👏

Wow! Free bikes trial schemes in 3 areas showed a 12x returning investment.
Reduced expected cases of disease by 16% and deaths by 6%.
What a win. We should be rolling these schemes to all deprived neighbourhoods.

It’s really important that #Vancouver’s Downtown Business Association, who were originally against bike-lanes, are now among their most vigourous supporters, because of ACTUAL EVIDENCE that they’re better for downtown business than any street parking they replaced.
