I don’t want to be like Mike Tyson, Jay.

It’s incredible that Les Incompétents not only burned a fat stack of cash on a Mike Tyson Super Bowl ad, but are apparently building an entire campaign around him.

The food item for which Tyson is most famous is Evander Holyfield’s ear.

Huh. I blame the hackberries. 🤷🏻‍♀️
NEW POLL: A survey found that 47 percent of voters blame NES "for the issues the city of Nashville faced when dealing with the recent ice storm," compared to 15 percent who blamed the Nashville Office of Emergency Management and 9 percent who blame O'Connell.

Also want to cross-reference to see how many supporters of the ouster also supported all the tree ordinances. People seem to conveniently forget how much backlash NES got in the past for aggressive trimming. You can't have it both ways. Thus far, the only failure I see is in emergency staffing.
My neighborhood suffered extended water and communication outages along with electric. Are any council members calling for Metro Water's CEO's termination? What about AT&T and Comcast? Major side eye to anyone calling for that before all facts are reviewed.

I know I’m fixating, but “shooting down party balloons and using it as a pretext for war” is literally the “99 Luftballons” story arc. 🎈🤯 (Even “Miami 2017” didn’t map this closely.)

No appointee of this administration even bothers to create the appearance of doing their job anymore, just openly serving as the president's personal apologist and attack dog. Completely illegitimate government
wow -- Bondi throws a fit in response to Nadler's question about how many of Epstein's co-conspirators, if any, she's investigating, aggressively pointing at him and yelling. The hearing then devolves into chaos and Raskin and Bondi start yelling at each other.

The FAA has issued a separate security NOTAM for Santa Teresa, New Mexico, banning all flight operations in the affected area for the same time window and altitude limits as the El Paso airspace closure, citing “special security reasons.”

I hope all the Tump-supporting execs of the companies that are affected by this El Paso airspace closure join the resistance instead of capitulating to whatever weird ransom the regime demands. EP/Juarez is huge for manufacturing and a lot of cargo moves by air.

This is so ugly to say, but the coverage of this woman's kidnapping is beyond excessive. This special report could have been a one-sentence chyron. The speculation is ridiculous and unnecessary.

Aww, this would have been a great thread of all the alt names in your family. My grandfather didn't even answer to his birth name. I have cousins whose govt names I don't know! Wink, BabyGirl (I remember Aunt BabyGirl's 90th bday), Lump, Grump, Pookie (I do know her name), and more!
anyway the point is that “the name on my birth certificate doesn’t fit me, please call me this other thing” has been common forever for all kinds of reasons, and violently repressing the entire concept as though it was invented in 2019 by Big Trans™️ to sell surgeries to children is absurd horseshit

Police in Bloomington, MN just announced that one of the guys they arrested in an underage sex trafficking sting was a **background checker for ICE agents.**

He had a high security clearance in the Trump administration... and he was caught trying to abuse children. Sickening.
