This did provoke a response, 24 hours later (Tuesday), of 'I will come back tomorrow with information'.
We are now on Friday and nothing.
I just want to know if the furniture even exists. I'm not demanding delivery immediately. Just whether or not it will ever arrive.

Just had to send an email quoting that something could be 'a breach of contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015' and I would make a terrible bad guy. I don't even like sending a vaguely threatening email when someone has my money and hasn't delivered my furniture.

My first job in digital publishing involved managing backlist ebook conversions and creating search PDFs. This was in 2011.
I just opened Acrobat to start putting together a one-off PDF ebook that we need. Might have 'Head of' in my job title now but this is why actually *doing the work* matters.
