Portlanders will not be cowed by this administration. When undignitaries like Kristi Noem visit for their photo ops and get mocked by people in animal costumes it’s because that’s the level of respect they deserve. Doing the work of mass deportation is the least honorable thing a person can do.

Yes fascism often does support lip service to public programs and state interventions in the markets. The reason these are not leftist or socialist actions is very specifically due to who the public is considered to be and what the interventions are in service to.

I hate to say it but antifascist protests in PDX have had this for 10 years. We had DU's Sunflowers, the Banana Brass Band, hell I've seen that unicorn before.

These tactics aren't new and are only effective if the overall media wants to cover it. Usually they ignore it to call us terrorists
