Senator Gallego weighs in as well. Note that at the start of 2025 he was considered a *moderate* on immigration and co-sponsored the Laken Riley Act. Him and many other Dems have been increasingly horrified at what ICE is doing and shifted away from a "more enforcement" focus.

I'm critical of some progressive slogans, "defund the police" is inaccurate and misleading, "no ethical consumption under capitalism" provides people with an excuse not to care about anything, but "abolish ICE" is right up there with "black lives matter" in terms of meaning what it fucking means.
Incapable of understanding how "abolish ICE" was silly but arresting 5 year olds is public policy

I just beat this game. It took about 4 hours and it fucking ruled. I cannot recommend it enough. Really good action platformer beat-em-up that is never frustrating and always interesting.
