Tokyo-based human. I like old music and movies. Also, games. I suffer from chronic pain, so I might be whiney sometimes.

Whenever I see a major YouTube channel just repeat made up bullshit and get shit wrong about a subject I know about, I wonder how much else bullshit they push about subjects I don't know shit about.
goddamn it now Linus Tech Tips is spreading the COMPLETELY UNFOUNDED "first retail VHS" of South Korea's "The Young Teacher", something I CAN FIND NOTHING ABOUT ANYWHERE and seems to be completely made up.

I had whooping cough (it's a two-part vaccine and I had a very bad reaction to the first vaccine, so I was never fully vaccinated against it). It sucks. You don't want it. The fact that it's on the rise is fucking criminal.
A third infant has died in Kentucky, KYDPH adds:

“These are Kentucky’s first pertussis deaths since 2018. None of the infants nor their mothers received the recommended pertussis vaccinations during pregnancy or early infancy.”

Everyday I see AI art more and more and I just feel it eating away at my soul. It is an affront to humanity.

Tokyo New Year's Illumination poster seems to be at least partially AI.

Synthwave Santa is definitely AI

If "things I need to do this week" and "things I want to do this week" was a venn diagram, it would be two circles a hundreds miles a part.

A new episode of Cinema Oblivia is live! @brucewaynebrady44.bsky.social is back to talk about Warlords of Atlantis, a really crazy late-70s giant rubber monster adventure movie! It's a lot of fun, and stars ONE OF THE BIGGEST STARS OF ALL-TIME.

I've reached the same conclusion as Jeff and would honestly like to know how anyone could actually think this is a well made, fun, gaming experience.
After spending some more time with it this morning and getting more of a handle on what it wants you to do in the different events I'm downgrading this to somewhere between "wow, I hate everything about this" and "fuuuuuuck this game."
